received every time I said that I live in Cotabato province. Is it safe to travel there? Is there no terrorist attack?
It is hard to imagine that the word "Cotabato" is marred with a lot of misconceptions which is primarily the reason why both local and international tourists are hesitant to visit this place. I have lived here for 20 years and Cotabateños (people of Cotabato) have coexisted peacefully. North Cotabato is bounded on the west by Maguindanao. This province is beautiful with lovely people and its own hidden gems and cultural heritage waiting to be discovered.
