Imbibe a Peace of Sweetness

When I was in my younger years, I really didn’t see any sense in why people visited cafés or dessert shops. When they can visit a restaurant that has multiple meal courses not just only a dessert. In fact, big and well-known restaurants offer the same dessert menu, much like coffee shops and dessert shops. But when I tried to visit a coffee shop for the first time, I realized that people don’t come for the menu alone, but for the calming ambiance and lightly caramelized, almost nutty aroma of coffee circulating the place. Coffee shops offer a uniquely calm atmosphere where people can gather with family and friends to catch up over a cup of something warm. Every coffee shop and dessert shop have its own distinct flavor and appearance that delights customers.

Coffee shop owners wanted to provide a place to gather, work, and drink. Also, they want to create a space in which they’ll savor both their coffee and their experience in your establishment. People love to take photos of desserts or food because it reminds them of places and memories with their friends, classmates, lovers, or family. I believe it is more important that we find peace in one place because it helps us overcome stress and pressure. The natural sweetness, refreshing acidity, and therapeutic aroma of coffee reminds us that in this bitter world, we can still make our life interestingly sweet. We have different definition of peace, but for me, peace is in a cup of coffee. No matter how fast, complex, confusing, and harsh the world might be, may we not forget that we deserve to have a peace of mind and grateful heart.
